The work takes the form of a video projection of some slides of an archive research carried out by Davide De Notarpietro. The research focused on articles and front pages of some Italian newspapers (national and regional), in the days of the landing in Bari of the ship Vlora that left Albania, immediately after the revolt against Enver Hoxha’s dictatorship that led to the end of the communist regime. On some slides I intervened digitally, erasing, adding and drawing visual elements that created a different relationship with the newspaper narrative, so as to negate, deconstruct and reconstruct the story from a visual, metaphorical and emotional point of view.
