About

Stefano Romano, (Naples, 1975) artist, curator, and researcher. At the core of my artistic practice, I develop the urgency to express the contradictions of reality through my work, understood as a temporal organism, as the manifestation of my fears, uncertainties, and certainties.
The tools with which I continue to question myself and reality, are those of the doubt as a working methodology, of liminal space as a point of view that integrates what we know with what we do not yet know, and of the research for expressive languages as a visualization of the structure of the world.
The research is translated into temporary actions, performances, installations, video works, photographs, and drawings.
