movements. 2 – looking for a family

This work reflect on the idea of home as a metaphor of the family and the red square as the architectural limit, the physical space in which are visible the relationships and tensions of the group of people who share that space.

I went in a square in Milano city center and staying into that red square I asked all people who were passing through the square if they wanted to be my family for the time of a photography. I tried to create again my original family whih is composed by four people (my father, my mother, my brother and me).

These “fortuitous families” were displayed into the red square hanged on the wall as a frame for these family portraits.
